In his keynote address, Nsarangbe lauded the school for fostering scientific curiosity and innovation. Drawing an analogy, he said, “A school is like an airport where students come from different backgrounds and are prepared to be flown to the right destination.”
He encouraged students to keep their sense of inquiry alive and urged parents to support their curiosity. Highlighting the importance of science and technology, he stressed the need for “unlearning and relearning” to keep pace with change.
Addressing teachers, Nsarangbe stated, “A teacher who is valued by the school, by the students, is a teacher who can inspire and a teacher who can inspire can change lives.”
He also advised students to respect their parents and teachers, and emphasised the importance of preserving linguistic identity. “Language is part of our identity. Parents must help their children learn their mother tongue - it connects us to our culture, our roots,” he observed.
