TUENSANG, JULY 31 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party, Tuensang region held a fellowship programme with the Tuensang district jail inmates to honourNeiphiu Rio for the longest serving Chief Minister of Nagaland on 30th July at district jail in Tuensang.

The programme was chaired by Imtichoba, president, Youth Organisation while invocation was spoken by Shokumla, general secretary, Women Organisation.

Short speeches were delivered by Mansa, vice president, Women Organisation and Heyito, secretary, NDPP Tuensang region.

A special prayer for Chief Minister of Nagaland was led by the Chaplain, Tuensang district jail.

H Wongto Chang, president, NDPP Tuensang region gave the message highlighting and reflecting from the life story of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland. He shared Rio’s personal background, political career, achievements in literary, artistic, scientific, social and cultural activities and briefed on the struggles of his life.

The programme concluded with a mass benediction prayer.
