Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Food & Civil Supplies Field Staff Association (NF&CSFA) on June 21 condemned the extortion demand reportedly made by three persons in the name of Yung Aung-led NSCN (K) and threat on the life of one its officers posted in Dimapur.
The association further warned the accused persons to refrain from serving extortion demands and threatening government officials, “Which destroys the peaceful co-existence amongst us Nagas.”
The Association appreciated the timely action taken by the Dimapur Police in apprehending the culprits and demanded stern action. It further requested the law enforcing authorities not to grant bail to the 3 accused.
