Kohima, March 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Press Association (NPA) has condemned the alleged assault on its member Menuseo Khieya, Correspondent of Eastern Mirror, on March 5, by unidentified person (s) at New Market, Kohima, while he was on his way home after duty.
“The NPA condemns such dastardly act perpetrated on our member. Seeing the grave injuries inflicted on Menuseo, it could be a case of an attempted murder,”NPA President H Chishi said in a statement.
The NPA requested the law enforcing agencies to investigate the incident and bring the culprit (s) to book at the earliest, so that justice could be delivered to the victim.
