DIMAPUR, AUGUST 1 (MExN): The Nagaland People’s Action Committee (NPAC) has appealed to all citizens of Dimapur and neighboring areas to participate in the August 5 rally to press for an early Naga political solution.
A press release from the NPAC informed that it held a joint meeting with the Local Committee on August 1 and took decisions for logistics and necessary preparation for successful conduct of rally. “The motive behind organizing a rally is to express our sentiments and anguish over the unending negotiations that have been dragging for the past 25 years,” the NPAC stated.
It further said that the NPAC “on behalf of citizens of Nagaland would like to send a clear message to the GOI that enough is enough and the public had suffered enough. So the NPAC through democratic process shall continue to press for early solution.”
