NPCC to work for justice

Kohima, July 28  (MExN): In regard to the AICC legal department convention held at Delhi on July 2, 2009, the NPCC has prompted its members to work towards speedy dispensation of justice. It stated that the Congress leaders’ concerns are not only confined to development and welfare programmes but it covers even social justice. This has been informed here in a press release issued by Zacilho Vadeo, vice president, legal cell, NPCC.

The note stated that at the AICC legal department convention, the UPA declared 2009-2013 as ‘Era of judicial reforms’ and that the NPCC members are hereby informed to follow some directives related to it: All the DCCs should take initiative to rope in lawyers to Congress party, Collect bio-data of advocates of Congress party , and to take up initiative to set-up legal cells at the DCC levels and constituencies. 

It also mentioned that the DCCs legal meetings in future might be organised at the constituency level, district level, state level, regional level and national level
