Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): Two cadres and two OGWs of NSCN (R) were reportedly arrested by security forces in general area Thincha, Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh on April 6. As per a press release from the Assam Rifles PRO, based on a specific input, security forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended two cadres and two OGWs of NSCN (R) and recovered one M-16 Rifle with magazine, one HK series Rifle with magazine, two .32 pistols with magazines, 147 live rounds of 5.56mm, one Chinese Hand Grenade along with detonator, two live rounds of .32, Rs 2310 cash and other items. The apprehended individuals along with recoveries have been handed over to Khonsa Police Station, Tirap for further investigation, the release added.
