On teacher’s recruitment under Zunheboto District

The recent declaration result of teacher recruitment under Zunheboto District (Oral/ viva-voice) held w.e.f 3rd May 2012 dated 14th May 2012 and published on May 2012.

Going through the result and the steps in conducting the said exam compels to bring out the few factual points revealing the truth to our state, so that the young educated/ qualified aspirants know all these facts and face their exams in future.

In Math subjects, the candidates appeared in the written test were 57 whereas, 36 candidates were selected for viva-voice, but unfortunately one candidate fails to appear, at last, all the candidates who appeared for viva-voice got selected, resulting to the shortage of candidate comparing to the post.

Same was the case in Science subject. 51 candidates were qualified for viva-voice and same numbers of candidates were selected for the post.

For the Graduate (General) amazingly the post vacant was only 5 but the department stretches a full helping hand and selected 91 candidates for viva-voice, out of which 5 candidates were selected for the post.

Are these steps correct/ appropriate in conducting an open competitive exam at our (Zunhebot District)?  Is our district really having a problem in shortage of aspirants/ qualified candidates? If this is the problems that the District is facing, we will come forward and beg you all (employees of DEO Zunheboto).

The proportionate ratio was to be 1:3 for viva-voice, but the steps taken in conducting exam our district is like a child enjoying the see-saw.
