Kohima, November 25 (MExN): In another big catch for the Nagaland Police, the Narcotic Cell PS Personnel manning the Narcotic Check Point at Khuzama detected and seized approx 48 kgs 980 grams of suspected Opium worth approx 4,89,80,000 (Four crore eighty nine lakh eighty thousand) illicit global market value. Updating the details on the social media platforms, the Nagaland Police stated that the seizure was made on November 24 at around 2:00 pm from the possession of two persons namely Muntiyaz Ali (34) and Harpal Singh (44), along with one vehicle bearing R/No.UP 21AR/7711 (Fortuner white colour). Accordingly, the accused persons were arrested and a case registered under NDPS Act for further investigation, it informed.
