Koinonia Baptist Church Sunday School Department held its VBS from June 28 to 30.
Kohima, June 30 (MExN): The Koinonia Baptist Church Sunday School Department held its Vacation Bible School under the theme, ‘Rocky Railway: He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless’ at Northfield, Khikha from June 28 to 30.
A total of 424 students, over 70 officials and volunteers attended the VBS with Kekhriengulie Kuotsu as Director and Pekrubeinuo Sanchu and Visatuonuo Semou as secretaries. The class were divided into beginner, primary, junior and intermediate with Four Stations namely, Video, Bible story, Bible Adventure and Craft with 12 session teachers, stated a press release.
Praise and worship were led by Kevichütuo Sopfünuo and friends while fasting and prayer group was led by Vizosul Sachü. The morning devotions and vespers were led by Kekhriengulie Kuotsu, Director VBS, Belinda Kiewhuo, Superintendent CEM, Evangelist Ruokuotuo Kuotsu, Visazo Seyie and Salenthong Khevazüklü. The sermons were given by Neibalie Kiewhuo, Pastor, Medotseilieü Kiewhuo, Pastor and Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo. On the concluding day, Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo, Senior Pastor delivred the message.
Best Students were awarded to Neikhozo and Atula of Beginner, Diethongunuo and Kelesezo of Primary, Vituolieü and Kaishilungba of Junior, Thashalo and Vitseinuo of Intermediate.
