Peren DTF on COVID-19 discusses arrival of stranded people

Peren, May 156 (MExN): Peren COVID-19 District Task Force meeting was held at Women Welfare Conference Hall, Jalukie on May 15 under the chairmanship of DC Peren-cum-DTF Chairman, Sentiwapang Aier.
A DIPR report stated that the meeting was held in view of the arrival of stranded people from different States of the country and to put certain requirement or logistic arrangement in place and also to review the preparedness of quarantine centres.
DIO, Dr. Asang, ADC Peren, EAC Ngwalwa and SDO (C) Ahthibung gave a brief report on the preparedness and intake capacity of identified quarantine centres of Peren District.
The members decided to set up a temporary makeshift camp at Punglwa junction to assist the entry of vehicles while data collection and proper screening will be done at Govt. High School ground, Mhainamtsi.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from Quarantine Centre Team, Transportation Team, Joint Action Committee, Jalukie Sub-divisional Task Force, Ahthibung Sub-divisional Task Force, Peren Sub-divisional Task Force and Tening Sub-divisional Task Force.
