Mdipuiram ward after the competition on Tuesday at Peren Town Sqare.

Peren, November 16 (MExN): Mdipuiram ward emerged winner of the Peren Town inter-ward choir competition organised as part of the 75th years of Peren Township celebration at Peren Town Square on Tuesday. A press release received here stated that “thousands of people converged at the venue to witness the choral competition where nine wards from Peren Town competed for the title.”
Nsetning ward and Keletzai ward were adjudged as runner-up and second-runners-up respectively. The winner received a cash amount of Rs 30,000 while the first runners-up walked away with a cash amount of Rs 20,000 and the second runners-up received Rs 10,000.
The viewers’ choice award was bagged by Mdipuiram ward who also received Rs 3,000. There were 6 consolation prizes where they also received Rs 5,000 each.
The prizes for the winners were given away by ADC Peren, Keyirangding Hegui, while the consolation prizes were handed over by EAC Peren, Er Seyievilie Pfukri.
The competition was judged by Heleilak Hega (chief judge), Zalevonuo Nza and Kebana Thou. The programme was compered by Keyilamle and Pauheugau Rangkau.
On Wednesday evening, Dreamz Unlimited and About Us enthralled the audience with their performances.
