Pfutsero BTF notifies lockdown guidelines

Pfutsero, May 14 (MExN): The Pfutsero Block Task Force (BTF) meeting was conducted on May 14 to discuss total lockdown measures and enforcement of the same. The meeting was chaired by Pfutsero EAC and attended by Pfutsero SDPO; SMO, CHC, Pfutsero; Pfutsero Town Welfare Committee; Head GB Pfutsero and Chairpersons of all the wards of Pfutsero town.

According to a DIPR report, the following orders will be enforced at Pfutsero sub division during the lockdown period:

•    All activities and movement of person (s) shall be suspended during the lockdown period except permitted activities such as movement of essential commodities and medical supplies; Healthcare facilities; Permitted government departments as listed; Petrol/diesel outlets; Electronic/print media/internet service providers; Lodgings with minimum staff.

•    For hotels/restaurants, only takeaways will be permitted and no in-house dining will be allowed.

•    Funeral services shall be allowed with 20 persons maintaining all COVID-19 SOPS and measures. 

•    Movement of all private and public transport vehicles shall be suspended except for Medical emergencies with recommendation from MS/SMO/MO and Government vehicles performing bona fide government duty. 

•    For other cases, Special Movement Permits from the BTF would be required.

•    All mass gatherings shall be closed and all social/political/ ports/entertainment/ academic/ cultural/religious functions shall be barred.

•    Solemnization of weddings shall be permitted with prior permission of Block Task Force, and a  limit of 20 persons. 

•    Shops selling vegetables, fish/meat vendors, milk booths, bakeries, local grocery stores, shop selling animal feeds shall be open from 6:00 am to 12:00 noon. And only one person per family would be allowed to shop for essential needs, advisably from within their colony only. 

•    Agricultural and allied activities and construction activities will be permitted. Magistrates, police and dobashis will stop vehicles to ascertain purpose. 50% occupancy shall be allowed in vehicles. 

•    Construction activities will be permitted provided that not more than 5 laborers are engaged at the construction sites, and laborers commute only between their homes and the work site. In this regard, the NHIDCL, company and contractors have been directed to ensure the same. 

•    Slab casting (Dalai) shall be banned during the total lockdown period 

•    No person shall be allowed to visit homes/loiter around for non-essential purposes.

•    Passengers shall remain in vehicles while being screened and checked at Police Check Gate, PWD, Pfutsero 
•    All the permitted shops to mark social distancing spots outside their shops. 

The house has also directed all the Ward Authorities to generate wide publicity of the order in their respective wards and enforce the same across the town and the sub-division. All standing COVID-19 SOPs and protocols are to be strictly followed for persons who go out/travel on essential purposes and penalties will be imposed on defaulters, the report stated.
