DIMAPUR, MAY 17 (MExN): Dimapur Police on May 16 arrested three persons on charges of conning and defrauding bank customers. A press note from Dimapur Police informed that the accused would pose as bank employees and approach bank customers with promises of ensuring bank loans at low interest rates. Following a complaint by the management of Axis Bank, police personnel were deployed on surveillance duty and the accused were arrested. Police identified the accused as Prosanjit Banerjee (33), MK Sylvester Kamei (32) and Adim Gonmei (34). Police have registered a case for further investigation.
