Mon, September 1 (MExN): A short programme for the launching of Poshan Maah was held at District Social Welfare Office, Mon on September 1 at with Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, as special guest.
According to a DIPR report, the DC emphasized that everyone should followed SOP to treat himself/herself as asymptomatic carrier of COVID-19 and should take necessary safety precaution to break the chain of transmission and wearing of mask as compulsory an every person in public places and maintain social distance.
Nokyam Khoiyem District Coordinator, (Poshan Abhiyaan), Mon chaired the programme. Y Tauhong Ngonyen, District programme officer, (Poshan Maah) Mon delivered a speech on the main aims and objectives of (Poshan Maah) as the people’s movement throughout the district/state where every home, school, village and town will speak up on ‘what is right nutrition.’
During the celebration, the message will be spread to every home on the meaning of right nutrition, nutritious food, clean water and right practices for life.
Poshan pledge was led by Laitak, CDPO, Tobu.
