Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division Y Akito Sema has informed that the department would proceed with disconnection of power supply for consumers who have not paid their bills, or those who have been found tampering with meters or illegally consuming power through methods like hooking.
In a press release on Tuesday, the EE stated that earlier notices were published in the newspapers for all categories of consumers including government offices, serving 15-days notice for payment of bills, “But it is regretted that some Government Offices have not turned up or have not turned up after having pled for grace period.”
It said the Department will proceed to disconnect the power supply of defaulting consumers without further notice.
