My country men and women, on this auspicious day of Nagaland Republic Day, I would like to extend Revolutionary greetings and salute our leaders and all Patriots who laid their precious lives for the Nation.
My greeting also goes to all our Revolutionary partners who are fighting the oppressor for the sovereignty of its people. Today, the GPRN strongly reaffirmed its long standing pledge and commitment to its pursuit for sovereignty. By the grace of our living God, the Naga Nation exists as a free people for more than six decades though occupational force continue to suppress and trying to wipe out our Nationhood. While honoring our undefeating political history, we should also thank our almighty god that, our survival is only because of His strong hand in spite of the fact that, both the occupational forces India and Myanmar did everything to destroy the Naga country by using all their strength and resources.
My country men and women, we are not lost people because we have never been submerged into the ocean of Indian and Myanmarese. Our political history could have been already buried by our betrayers in signing sell-out Shillong Accord, but our Almighty God save us from perishing through few chosen leaders who timely restored our Nation by forming socialist government in the year 1980 in Eastern Nagaland. Even today, the negative forces continuously play destructive role to weaken the Nagas but it will not succeed because nobody can destroy the political and historical rights of the Nagas.
The so-called peace talks between the GOI and NSCN (IM) will be ended as a big failure because it is not a Naga’s Talk. The GOI have already realized that, the NSCN (IM) is not mandate body and talking with them is of no use. The NSCN on her part publicly declare that, it will not be part of GOI and NSCN (IM) solution because it will only be a sell-out solution. However, the NSCN/GPRN will continue to strive for Naga unification based on political and historical rights of the Naga and also if other Naga groups are honest and hope their hearts. The formation of so-called NNG (Naga National Government) by some groups without participation of other Naga groups will not work. The NSCN/GPRN will continue to stand and support other oppressed people of the Indo-Burma region who aspired for freedom and shared a common political ideology.
