Tuensang, December 1 (MExN): The PWD (R&B) Department Tuensang has cleared the roads of flood-hit-areas at Tuensang village which was blocked since August.
The department deployed JCB and men power. It took some days to clear the road which is the only life line of the village and also the major connection for easy transportation for the villagers.
The Tuensang village K/ Khel Village Council Chairman N. Kaimang Chang expressed sincere gratitude to EE PWD (R&B) Tuensang, Menang Lepden Ao, for his kind initiative in clearing the road toward flood-hit- areas of two rivers of villages constructed under MGNREGA.
The council further extended support and cooperation toward the department and hoped that such kind of humanitarian contribution for the peoples will continue in the days to come.
