‘Quarantine Centres in Tening will be ready by May 19
ADC Tening constitutes committee for quarantine centres
Peren, May 16 (MExN): Quarantine centres in Tening will be ready by May 19, a according to a DIPR report.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Rhosietho Nguori has constituted a committee for quarantine centres for Tening with an action plan for Sub Divisional Task Force (SDTF) on May 15. Committees were set up and action plans were made for the centres to be fully functional by the said date.
Action Plan
Setting up of committees and briefing/ orientation of SDTF/ Task Force on SOPs of quarantine facilities, cleaning of the quarantine centres and premises along with sensitisation of village councils under Tening Sub Division was held on on May 16. Training of youth volunteers (both Tening town and village) will be held on May 17, the DIPR report added.
Electrification for quarantine centres (QC) and installment of temporary toilets and water storage facilities in the QC will be done on May 18 and the centres will be ready and functional by May 19.
The Incident Responders are- Responsible Officer (ADC) Incident Commander ( EAC), Medical Officer (MO), MO of Community Health Centre (CHC), Safety Officer, Officer in charge of Police Station, Resource Unit Leader and Block Development Officer.
The staging area will be at the ADC’s residence, DBs court. Kitchen of the two centralised mess will be at Angawadi Centre 1 and 4, according to a DIPR report.

Quarantine Centre Management: EAC (Convenor), CDPO (Tening), SDO PWD (R&B) and President of Tening Youth Organisation. Transport: SDAO (Agri) (Convenor), Head DB, Mairisi, Pick-up Truck Union Tening.
Medical: Dr Neilasakuo Linyὔ, MO of CHC (Convenor), all workers of ASHA and Angawadi. Mess Committee: S.K. of F & CS (Convenor), President of TTWWO, President of Liangmai Pui Aruang and President of Tening Town Traders Union.
Water & Sanitation: SDO of PHED (Convenor), Acham and Akhang GB of Tening Town. Electrification, M/R of Power department (Convenor) and Ramwi GB of Tening Town. Safety Officer: OC of PS and Range Forest Officer, Tening.
