Noklak, June 24 (MExN): Doctors and staff of CHC, Noklak have expressed concern that many people are reluctant to avail proper medical advice fearing testing of COVID-19 and many of who are at home with ailments, which are not related to COVID-19, without proper medical treatment.
Therefore, a DIRP report stated that the medical staff have requested the Department of Information & Public Relations to disseminate through public announcement and other means, on the difference between COVID-19 related health issues and other dangerous sickness such as Scrub typhus(which may lead to loss of consciousness or uncontrolled fever and even kidney failure),Typhoid (which may also lead to serious complications) and Hypertension (which may lead to lead to stroke) which are life threatening diseases, if not properly treated in time.
“It said that some people may be dying of sicknesses which are treatable and curable due to negligence,” the medical staff expressed.
