Kiphire, March 20 (MExN): The Salomi village under Kiphire district has donated land measuring some 250 acres for free to Yimkhiung Tribal Council.
The land was donated for establishment of Kirahvong Yimkhiung Model village, informed YTC in a press release. The place is situated 10 kilometers away from Pungro Hq under Kiphire district and around 5 kilometers away from the Pungro-Salomi - Mimi Road and located in an ideal place for conservation and preservation, it said.
In this connection, the YTC has also submitted a representation to Chief Engineer PWD Road and Bridges Government of Nagaland, Kohima for road connectivity, the release informed.
The YTC also has Müntün Yimkhiung Heritage Village near Sotokur Hq, in Shamator district.
