Special guest Er Mhaseto Nakro along with institute’s staff and students after the inauguration of the Annual Sports Meet.
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): The students and staff of Government Polytechnic Seithekema C, Dimapur, held their fourth Annual Sports Meet from March 4 to 5 at the institute’s playground.
According to a press release from the institute, Er Mhaseto Nakro, Director, Technical Education, Nagaland graced the inaugural programme as the chief guest and encouraged the participants to achieve new heights and shine not only in their academics but also in extracurricular activities.
The inaugural occasion was chaired by Dr Nonlih Chohwanglim, Lecturer, GPSD while Er Imkongningsang, Workshop Superintendent, pronounced the invocation. Among the other guests, Er Zhapulhoulie Rupreo, Principal I/C, GPSD gave the welcome address while the final year students presented a special song for the occasion.
At the conclusion of the programme, the vote of thanks was given by Imnasangba Jamir, Sr. Lecturer after which the sports meet began in earnest.
