KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 23 (MExN): Nagaland Social Welfare, Director Tosheli Zhimomi held a co-ordination meeting with all the staff of DPO, DWO and ICDS of Phek District at Tourist Lodge, Pfutsero on September 21.
The programme was also attended by all the AWWs and AWHs under Pfutsero Project. The Director was accompanied by Nokcharenla, Addl. Director, along with other senior officials. The entourage visited Kikruma and Pfutsero ICDS projects prior to the meeting.
The Director addressed intently on the various levels of the district functionary roles and activities, besides emphasizing the significance of team-work.
Deputy Director, Imkongzenla, expressed appreciation to the Director for reaching out to the field level, through tour programmes which is to cover all the districts of Nagaland, and for personally taking up important issues of the department fervently. Assistant Director, Asangla Jamir, who is also in charge of Phek district tour and inspection, laid out the functioning aspects of the projects.
Assistant Director, Hebou Rio, stressed on the necessity of facilitating Aadhaar enrolment for all beneficiaries.
The coordination programme was chaired by Vekhoto Tetseo, CDPO, Chozuba. Phoebe Tetseo, Welfare Inspector, Phek pronounced invocation, while welcome note was proposed by Abi Peseyie, DPO, Phek. A special number was presented by AWWs and AWHs of Porba village and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Alice Yepthomi, CDPO, Kikruma.
