DIMAPUR, MARCH 21 (MExN): Deputy Chief Minister (Home), Y Patton on Thursday informed that the State Government is earnestly taking up matter with its counterpart in Manipur on the Kezoltsa/Kozürü land dispute issue. Additionally, it is also making efforts towards getting an official confirmation on the withdrawal of the Manipur security forces from the disputed area, the Dy CM informed through a press statement issued by its media cell. “All parties and stakeholders concerned are now further impressed upon to maintain status quo and to refrain from carrying out any activity that may be inimical towards creating a conducive environment which is vital to facilitate in bringing about an amicable resolution of the long pending issue through customary and traditional approach,” the press statement further read.
