Mokokchung, March 31 (MExN): To mark the win of election from 21 Tuli AC, a thanksgiving programme for new MLA and Advisor for Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, A Pangjung Jamir was held at public ground, Shitikolak Ward, Tuli on March 31.
About 3000 supporters and party workers turned up for the programme. In his address, the Advisor acknowledged the public for giving him the support and opportunity to represent the constituency. Jamir encouraged the people of Tuli to work together for the upliftment and development of the constituency. On his part, the Advisor assured the supporters that he will work with vigorous dedication and strive to lead them in a new direction as stated in his election motto, ‘New Vision, New Direction.’
Short speeches were also delivered by representatives of the Asangma, Kangtsung, Wameken and Anaki village councils; Tzudikong Adhoc Town committeem Tulikong Chairperson and BJP Molungyimsen Unit. In addition, special numbers by Jungshilemla Jamir and BJP Mahila Wing, Tzudikong Unit were presented for the gathering as well.
