The Chimney Hut, a complete restaurant for Chinese cuisine, is now ready to serve the customers and has been relocated to Secretariat Road, Kohima just adjacent to the new petrol pump.

The Chimney Hut, popular for its signature dishes like Chimney Soup served in pot, seafood – Sui Mai, Bao Zi etc, was initially opened Keziekie Taxi Stand in 2019.

However, with the increase in customer base and want of more space, the Chinese restaurant has been shifted to Secretariat road and is now ready to serve the food lovers from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, except on Sunday, said its proprietor Veeky Sorhie Liu.
Liu said that they are open not only for dine-in and take away services, but also host birthday and anniversary parties while also providing catering services.

“We serve authentic Chinese dishes with the main chef Michael Ho, himself cooking the entire items,” she said, adding that the service givers are local youths.

The menu includes Lap Cheong (Chinese sausage), Tofu, Prawns, dumplings, wonton and also veg and non-veg items.
