Kohima, November 17 (MExN): The All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association has filed a writ petition in the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench seeking direction on time-bound scale of pay, which some of the members are entitled, but has not been granted so far. The time-bound scale of pay is as per the Rule 13 of the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 1993 read with Rule 2(b), the Association pointed out in the petition. It was further informed that the Association has also submitted the legal notice dated to the Engineer-in-Chief, NPWD, Nagaland, Kohima regarding the issue on October 12, 2022. However, with no positive response so far and being aggrieved, it approached the Court for seeking appropriate direction. Accordingly, a single-judge Bench of Justice Kakheto Sema issue notice to the State respondents returnable within four weeks.
