Participants during the Teaching Learning Material and Psychological assessment camp for children with Intellectual Disabilities held at District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, Dimapur.

Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): A team of professionals from National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPID), Secunderabad, organised a Teaching Learning Material (TLM) and Psychological assessment camp for children with Intellectual Disabilities at District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, Dimapur.
It was held in collaboration with Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, DDRC and CMHP, Prodigals’ Home. The TLM and Psychological assessment team from NIEPID was comprised of Dr Ravi Prakash, Officer in charge NIEPID RC, Navi Mumbai, Dr Neeral Mishra, Lecturer, Occupational Therapy, CRC Devangere and Keerti Sudha Rajput, Rehabilitation Psychologist.
The assessment team, Assisted by Dr Imli, PMR Doctor and Senior Specialist, DDDRC and team of Community Mental Health Programme, Prodigals’ Home, facilitated TLM assessment for 52 Children with Intellectual Disability and Psychological assessment for 27 children with ID.
