DIMAPUR, JULY 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Transport Department has notified that in partial modification of its earlier notification, vehicles beyond three-axle, including semi-tractor articulated trailers whose carrying capacity is 30.5 tonnes or more, which are carrying materials/ equipments/goods etc., meant for the ongoing capital connectivity project for Board Gauge New line from Dhansiri to Zubza by Northeast Frontier Railway, are allowed to ply on the National Highway stretch from Dimapur up to Molvom/Pherima. It also informed that the load being carried by every such vehicle should be within the limits as provided in the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989. Before such vehicles enter Nagaland, prior intimation with full details will have to be provided to Deputy Commissioner Dimapur and Deputy Commissioner Chümoukedima.
