TUENSANG, MAY 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant has banned the sale and consumption of paan, gutka and tobacco products in the district. In an order, the DC also stated that spitting in public places and institutions under Tuensang district is strictly prohibited as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 infections. Failure to comply with the order shall attract legal action under Section 188 of the IPC and under the relevant sections of the National Disaster Management Act, 2005.
