Two houses gutted in Dimapur

Dimapur, May 14 (MExN): Two houses were gutted after a fire broke out in Circuit Colony, Dimapur on May 13.

According to a report from the Fire headquarters, after a fire call was received around 10:45 pm on May 13, Fire and Emergency Services mobilized a quick response team led by Duty Commander SI Bonom Konyak from Fire Station Dimapur (Central) to control the fire.

The team brought the fire under control and managed to stop it from spreading to the surrounding houses.

Two kutcha houses used by tenants and a garage were completely razed in the inferno, along with four vehicles and other household property, the report added. No casualty was reported, however, two families were reportedly affected. The cause of the fire is unknown, the report added.
