In a concerted effort to promote cleanliness, Wokha Town Council conducted a comprehensive clean-up initiative as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Activities 2024 from September 20 to 23.
The Cleanliness Target Unit (CTU) activity focused on the stretch from Police Point to Tsumang Lake, bringing together a diverse group of participants.
The initiative saw active participation from NEEPCO Doyang, local Muslim community business establishments, ward councillors, and staff from the Wokha Town Council.
Wokha Town Council emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining cleanliness and encouraging civic pride among residents.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to ongoing clean-up efforts and the promotion of sustainable practices within the community.
