Wokha, March 23 (MExN): Wokha Town Council (WTC) Administrator and Additional Deputy Commissioner T Lankonsen Tsanglao has notified that all areas under the WTC jurisdiction has been declared open defection free (ODF+).
As such, anyone found defecating in the open within the town will be penalized with a sum of Rs 50 on the first offence and Rs 100 for subsequent offence, a press release informed on Wednesday.
For any queries or feedback regarding the declaration of ODF+ in the Wokha, the WTC can be contacted during office hours within 15 days from the publication of this order, the release stated.
