Kohima, February 19 (MExN): A workshop on Jaadui Pitara (Magic box) and e-Jaadui Pitara for DIET faculty members, government teachers and anganwadi workers was held at SCERT Kohima on February 18.
The workshop was organised by North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong. The programme was coordinated by Dr Vareishang Tangpu, Assistant Professor, NERIE, NCERT, Shillong.
The resource persons of the workshop included B Umesh Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, NERIE, NCERT, Shillong and Roseline Richa, Reader, SCERT Nagaland.
In the inaugural session, Nagaland SCERT Director, Kevirale-ü Kerhuo introduced the Jaadui Pitara as a learning teaching material with a variety of resources designed to make learning joyful and engaging experience. She conveyed her happiness on Nagaland state developing a contextualized ECCE curriculum that has been implemented across all government schools since 2024.
The director urged the teachers to develop materials and activities creatively and with ingenuity to cater to the unique needs and interests of the children.
