Zunheboto DPDB meeting conducted

Zunheboto, March 12 (MExN): The monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at Deputy Commissioner's conference hall, Zunheboto on March 10 under the chairmanship of Advisor, Food & Civil supplies, LMCP, Taxes, and Chairman DPDB Zunheboto, Pukhayi Sumi.

AThe house discussed the agendas on the establishment of a sub-center at Khewoto village; Construction of new EAC headquarters at Saptiqa town, Zunheboto; Removal of sub-reservoir for site leveling at new DC office complex at PHED compound (North point colony), and Up-gradation of Snow Field school, Aghunato up to class 8.

A DIPR report stated that highlighting the COVID situation at the district, Deputy CMO Zunheboto, Dr Akaho Sema said countering the virus with intensive vaccination is working as a key factor in mitigating the hazardous effects of the deadly virus. The district can safely say that more than 80% of eligible beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far, he added.

In his concluding remarks, the Pukhayi Sumi mentioned that his experience with the board members had been a memorable one and acknowledged that the members have been performing assignments remarkably well, and urged them to continue and co-operate. He said the Deputy Commissioner had been in the district at the toughest of times but he had the calmness to handle the situations gracefully which often worked very well for the people at the district. He also wished him well for his future endeavors.
