Kohima, November 23 (MExN): Kohima police has taken actions against a traffic police personnel who was filmed demanding money from truck drivers on November 22.
“With regard to the video of a traffic police demanding money from truck drivers on November 22, 2021, that went viral on social media platforms, it is to inform that the erring police personnel has been identified and action is being taken against him.
Further, disciplinary action has been initiated by department, the Kohima Police PRO informed in a press release on Tuesday.
It also appealed to the general public to bring such instances of misconduct and misbehaviour to the notice of senior officers for timely necessary action.
