Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Dimapur organized six-day Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY) for 15 youths on Low Cost Mushroom Cultivation & Value Addition.
It was organized in association with State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) Nagaland and National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) at Mushroom Development Centre, State Horticulture Nursery, Dimapur Nagaland from April 19 to 24.
During the training, the participants were taught about the various varieties of mushroom, different methods of mushroom cultivation for different varieties, preparation of materials for mushroom cultivation, hands on practical demonstration and preparation, field visit to Konger Agritech (OPC) Private Limited, Aoyimkum, Dimapur and SHG engaged in mushroom cultivation.
