Wokha, December 6 (MExN): Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), DHEP Doyang organized an interactive session under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat on December 6 for the students of Mt Tiyi College.
More than 200 students participated in the event.
The event was organized by Assistant Commandant, CISF, Unit, DHEP Doyang Sunil. The function started with welcome speech from Principal, Mt Tiyi College, Amos Ovung.
The gathering of students was addressed by Harendera Narayan, Group Commandant CISF Group Head Quarters Guwahati and Paul Chasie, Deputy Commandant, CISF, NRL, Noomaligarh.
As per DIPR report, the focus of the interactive session was to motivate students to appear in the various competitive examinations conducted by the Central and State governments.
The Group Commandant discussed about various career opportunities available in the government and how to prepare for examinations. Deputy Commandant Paul shared his experiences with the students and discussed the strategy for CAPF examination. Paul qualified his CAPF examination in 2009 and was allotted CISF.
The Group Commandant also spoke about two officers of CISF who hails from Wokha district – Chumbenthung Ngullie and Justin Ezung who qualified CAPF examination in 2010 and 2015 respectively. He also emphasized that right selection of career plays an important role in job satisfaction and achieving goals of life.
He elaborated about the achievements of CISF and earmarked it as “The Force of Future.” He further elucidated on the rapid growth of CISF in recent years due to its tech-savvy approach and how CISF have been playing a pivotal role in protecting vital installations of the country, where he emphasized on the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Swachhta Action Plan” with cleanliness drive at Mt Tiyi College.
SP, Wokha, Imtitoshi, NPS and SDO (C), Wokha Chonpenthung Ezung also attended the programme. The SP highlighted the role of inquisitiveness and target oriented devotion to achieve career goals, while SDO (C) spoke sincerity and hard work in achieving career goals. Students interacted with officers and shared their feedback.
Principal while delivering the vote of thanks acknowledged the efforts of CISF and requested to further organize such events in future as well.
