Kohima, April 24 (MExN): Inaugurating the Jotsoma Women Organisation’s (JWO) building at Agri-Farm Colony, Kohima on Saturday, MLA, 8th Western Angami A/C, Keneizhakho Nakhro stated that time and again it is witnessed that empowering of women leads to strengthening of men in society.
Keneizhakho acknowledged the predecessors for their foresight in conceiving and paving the way for the construction of the building in the State capital for the welfare of society. He exhorted the JWO to continue to take active part in development of society.
The building was designed by Architect Keneilhousa. It consists of five storeys and built at a cost of Rs. 1.9 crore. Building Committee members, Dolhulie Peseyie and Pelevito Nakhro gave brief reports on the planning, finance and construction of the building.
The dedicatory prayer was said by Pastor, Baptist Church Jotsoma, Rev Zakiebinyü Peseyie. The programme was chaired by Ketouneikhono Nakhro, Secretary, Kohima Building and a short speech was shared by Chairperson, JWO, Leno Nagi. Vote of Thanks was delivered by Khriekerheno Nagi.
