Various indigenous event competitions were organised as part of the 29th biennial general conference of the Angami Students’ Union (ASU) at Kisama on April 24. 

In the Cart Race, Neisazolie Thevo & Savio Tsikhano of NASU stood in the first position while Kevilhoukho Dolie and Kezhalelhoulie of WASU stood second position. The third position was bagged by Vibeizo Zashümo and Vikhozoto Lhoushe of SASU.

War cry: 1st- Zhapuchütuo Mere Kesiyie (NASU), 2nd- Megokielie Nipu (WASU), 3rd- Zekosa Zhale (NASU).
Traditional fire making, Khriezo Tsükrü of SASU and Neibisetuo Thaprü of SASU stood first and second position respectively.

Local Rice Pounding competition: 1st- Western Angami Students’ Union, 2nd- Southern Angami Students’ Union, 3rd- Northern Angami Students’ Union.

Bamboo Stilt Walk: 1st- Mhalevizo (SASU), 2nd- Sedezhao (NASU), 3rd- Meyiezotuo (SASU).

A debate competition was also held where Diezevisie Nakhro (CSU) came first followed by Vizosienuo Shuya (NASU) and Onokü Tsükrü (SASU) in the second and third position.
