Kohima, April 24 (MExN): In commemoration of National Science Day 2021, District Education Office, Kohima in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology, Nagaland conducted Kohima district level drawing and painting competition under the theme, ‘Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills and Work’ on April 22.
A press release from DEO Kohima stated that a total of 18 schools participated in the competition. It was judged by Andy Sekhose, Art Curator, Directorate of Art and Culture and Khobu Sale, Drawing Teacher, Government High School Kigwema together with District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima Neizetuonuo.
Onü-o Thira (class-9) of Stella Hr Sec School, Kohima won the first position followed by Khriehuzo Rutsa (class-10) of Rüzhükhrie Govt Hr Sec School, Kohima in second position, Nebeivolie Rülho (class-10) of Govt High School Nerhema in third position and Zujanthung N Humtsoe (class-10) of Mezhür Hr Sec School, Kohima in fourth position.
DEO Kohima Neizetuonuo gave away the cash awards and citations to the winners. Participation Certificate was presented to all the student participants.
