KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 15 (MExN): One person was arrested by the Kohima Police for duping people with promise of jobs in the Police Department. A press release from the PRO, DEF Kohima identified the person as one Ravozo Medeo (24 years). “Preliminary, investigation has revealed that the accused person had issued fake appointment letters with forged signatures of certain high ranking officer at Police Headquarters (PHQ) and that of the Superintendent of Police of a district,” the Kohima Police informed. In this connection, a case has been registered at North Police Station Kohima and further investigation is being conducted. Meanwhile, Kohima Police has appealed to the citizens to be cautious of such fraud and to report such cases to police for initiating necessary criminal proceedings.
