Nagaland: ‘Education dept endeavouring to make govt schools excel in all spheres’

‘Result oriented education requires four aspect which include collective and coordinative efforts of teachers, parents, School Management Committee members and the government department,’ remarked Razouseyi Vese, Additional Director (HSS), School Education Department, Nagaland on Tuesday.

Gracing the Children's Day cum Prize Distribution Day programme at Government Middle School for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) in Lerie, Kohima, Vese encouraged the teachers in the school to spread the good message that department is endeavouring to make government schools excel in all spheres despite the challenges faced by them.

He also added that the luckiest teachers are those who are posted in Kohima and Dimapur and therefore should make their best contribution for the welfare and all round development. 

The additional director further advised the students and teachers to show love and care to the Children with special needs students.  

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Lilavati Kivimi and Nikheli Zhimomi delivered vote of thanks. During the event, presentations of songs and dances were given by students, teachers and CWSN students action song. The guest also distributed prizes for the annual prize distribution in literary and sports competitions.
