The Nagaland Groundwater (Regulation & Control of Development and Management) Bill 2020 have been passed today at the ongoing 11th session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
The Bill was moved by Soil & Conservation and Geology & Mining Minister V Kashiho Sangtam.
The Nagaland Village and Tribal Affairs Councils (Fifth Amendment) Bill 2022, moved by deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, have also been passed today on the floor of the House.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who also holds finance portfolio moved for introduction of Government Bill on Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Fifth Amendment) Bill 2022.
Rio also laid Nagaland State Disaster Management Rules 2007, Nagaland Govt. Printing Press (Technical) Amended Service Rules 2022, Nagaland Public Service Commission (Chairman, Members and Staff) Regulations, 2008 (With Amendment upto 13-12-2021) and Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission Separate Audit Report (SAR) for the year 2009- 10 to 2017-18.
The CM also laid the Annual Administrative Report 2021-2022 of 15 departments-Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Water Resources, Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Information & Public Relations, Urban Development, Food & Civil Supply, Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Chief Electoral Officer, Sericulture, Border Affairs, Electrical Inspectorate, Art & Culture and Power.
Deputy CM Y Patton (Minister In Charge of Home and Roads & Bridges), Planning And Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Neiba Kronu, Transport, Civil Aviation, Railways and Land Resources Minister, P Paiwang Konyak, Rural Development Minister Metsubo Jamir, Geology & Mining and Soil & Water Conservation Minister V Kashiho Sangtam and Higher Education & Tribal Affairs Minister Temjen Imna Along also tabled their respective departments Annual Administrative Report 2021-2022.
CM presents CAG report
Chief Minister Neiphio Rio today presented the state finance audit report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAGI) at the ongoing state assembly session here.
He also tabled the reports of Appropriation Accounts 2019-20, Finance Accounts (Volume-1) 2019-20 and Finance Accounts (Volume-11) 2019- 20.
Later, Rio presented the Supplementary Demand of Grants for the year 2021-2022.
He also tabled a copy of the Review of the trends in receipts and expenditure for the first, second and third quarter of the year 2021-22, as required under Section 11 of the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2005.
