ATMA Peren block conducted demonstration at three farm schools at New Puilwa, Peren village and Mhainamtsi village on February 11 and 12. Duncan Basti Council (DBC), Dimapur organised a cleanliness drive on February 15 removing dust and dirt piled up on the roadside in the locality. A senior member of the council informed that the initiative was taken up keeping in mind the approaching windy season, a time of the year in Dimapur when heaps of dust piled up on the roadsides becomes a hazard to driving and pedestrians alike. Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) Angjangyang block conducted its first phase training on thematic, covering Angphang, Changlang, Jakphang and Angjangyang villages from February 2 to 13 with three Area Coordinator (AC) of Institution Building and Capacity Building (IBCB), Social Inclusion and Social Development (SIST) and Financial Inclusion (FI). A total of 533 participants attended the training. Various topics were deliberated under the themes; ‘Leadership skills, Relationship between SHGs members and concept seeding of VLOs under IBCB, Girl child Education and Gender Equality under SISD and Social Security Schemes under FI.
