Nagaland pioneers school safety with first-of-its-kind digital course

Kohima, April 25 (MExN): In a pioneering move for school safety across the nation, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Department of School Education (DSE) and NagaEd have launched the School Safety Policy Compliance Course. This mandatory digital training course, for both government and private school teachers, equips educators with vital disaster management skills and knowledge, making it one of the first of its kind in the country. Teachers, both government and private, can enroll education.nagaland.gov.in to receive their mandatory completion certificate, stated a press release received here. 

Early success and ambitious goals: Over 500+ teachers have already enrolled in the online certification course. The program ambitiously targets to certify 10,000 teachers across the state, ensuring widespread dissemination of crucial safety knowledge.
Joint effort for statewide impact: The NSDMA, DSE, and NagaEd, a leading digital education company, have collaborated to develop and implement this innovative program. This partnership leverages digital education to reach educators in diverse and remote locations throughout Nagaland.
