Lumami, April 22 (MExN): The Executive Council of Nagaland University Students Union (NUSU) (L), 2019-2020(21) conducted its General Election 2021 on April 20.
The Election was led by the Election Commission; headed by President Nito H Khulu (Election Commissioner), General Secretary Süyievelü Venuh (Member-Election Commission) and Assistant General Secretary Ngaupu A (Member- Election Commission).
Three Election Observers present were Prof L N Kakati (Dean of Students’ Welfare), Dr Rumi Dhar (Department of Law) and Dr Gyati Yam.
According to the NUSU press release, the newly elected Executive Council of NUSU (L) for the tenure 2021 will be led by Hipito Achumi as President, I Hathenlivo Mokho as Vice President and Akhrielienuo Kire and Akumba as General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary respectively, besides other executive members.
