Kashliwal added that the college authority had finished going through the profiles of all the students (around 1200) studying at present. They did not come across any evidence linking the girl in the clip to the college or any of the students from the college matching that of the girl, he disclosed. The students attended classes today following assurance from the college authority that a police complaint has been lodged and investigation has begun.
Meanwhile, the police said that they will have to begin with examining witnesses, if any, to try and trace out the origin of the clip. To complicate matters for investigators, according to unconfirmed reports, the clip never went online but is only circulating via mobile phones.
