Notun Bosti Council cautions against hoarding and unauthorized price hike

Guidelines issued for residents, traders & returnees

Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): The Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) on Saturday cautioned against indulging in unfair or illegal practices like hoarding or unauthorized increase in price of commodities. If caught, the council shall take action as per the DMC order, it stated.

While issuing COVID-19 guidelines to be followed in its jurisdiction, the NBCD informed all traders, business establishments and shop keepers under Notun Bosti to wear face mask compulsorily and maintain social distance.

The Council directed all shops, business establishments, restaurants etc to close by 7:00 pm except for medical, pharmacies and emergency service.

All the residents and public within the Notun Bosti colony have also been informed that assembly of four or more persons is restricted from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am and that wearing face mask is compulsory.

The Council also directed residents to observe COVID-19 appropriate behaviors while availing essential commodities or going out from the house.

Guidelines for returnees
Meanwhile, the NBCD further informed the house owners, parents and residents of Notun Bosti to provide personal information of returnees, if any, to the district control room at WhatsApp number 7630877983/7630877991. They have also been asked to report to Action committee for COVID- 19, Notun Bosti Convenor and Member Secretary in the following numbers: 9612916007/ 7005125739 before their arrival to the colony. Returnees/persons arriving from outside the State have been informed to remain in self isolation for 10 days if test result is awaited.

The NBCD will take action as per the April 21 DC Dimapur order against any person violating this order, it cautioned.
