KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 3 (MExN): The NSSAA Social Audit Unit Nagaland, in collaboration with the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board and the Labour Department, Government of Nagaland, launched a three-day training programme for Social Audit Resource Persons on social audit under the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Scheme.
The training programme is being held from February 3 to 5, and is aimed at preparing resource persons for the conduct of social audits under the BOCW Scheme commencing in the financial year 2025–26.
The first day of the programme began with an introductory address by Imtitoshi I Jamir, director, NSSAA Social Audit Unit Nagaland.
Resource persons for the training include Vikeheto Naki, deputy chief executive officer of the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board; Imlirenla Sanglir, assistant director, NSSAA Social Audit Unit Nagaland; and Sezolu Swuro, state resource person, NSSAA Social Audit Unit Nagaland.
Altogether, 25 resource persons from district and block levels are undergoing the training. The programme comprises two days of theoretical sessions, culminating in a practicum and presentation on the final day.
